I spent a good deal of time researching different under cabinet rangehoods that would meet our needs as I was only working with 31.5" between the range top and cabinet bottom on a gas range. I also wanted to get a rangehood that had high CFM. I am very glad the Victory brand of rangehood came up on Reddit as it led me to this model which was absolutely perfect for my needs with the limited space I have.

The installation of the unit was pretty straight forward if you are handy. If you are creating a new hole for the venting, I would recommend upsizing the hole to 8" like the manual for it says. Having two people is a must unless you have something to hold the unit in place to mount it.

The performance of the unit is great. I couldnt be happier with how well it performs and how quiet the unit is. It really does have great suction and the baffles are easy to clean. I just put them in the dishwasher once a week. I typically use it on Speed 1 or 2 for most cooking, but 3 for stir frys or high heat.

If you are thinking on getting this unit, you should as its very well made, looks and performs great. I was a little sad to see this model being discontinued as this was absolutely perfect for my needs since it was lower profile due to part going into the cabinet bottom and I honestly couldn't find others with this type of design that support higher CFM.

So, after having waited a bit to install my Victory fan in my kitchen I finally set to work to install it. I decided to go with the recirculating option as I couldn’t find a satisfactory location to vent to the outside. Unfortunately as I commenced work on the install I discovered there were no fasteners included to attach the recirc part to the chimney stack frame. Also, there are no instructions in the manual for that part of the unit, however, it seems fairly straight forward. Also, one of the four holes tapped in the chimney frame for the recirc unit fasteners was botched at the factory and I’m not sure how I’m going to fasten. Far too much improvising required at the install end for my liking.

Great looking and functioning fan, with one of the best warranties. Using 8” ducting, this fan has some serious pull on high! Vapours get drawn up off pots and pans, not partially floating around or escaping. Sound was also much lower when comparing others brands in person. Victory is also local to me which is always great if support is ever needed.

Bought this to replace a closely-priced OTR which barely did it's job of exhausting fumes. Installation was straightforward, however a template to screw holes would have done wonders. Took me about 15 minutes to get everything up and running. I purchased the touch screen version. Simple durable construction - Highly recommended!

Loving the sleek look over the island

We finally moved in in November and are enjoying our new kitchen which features your ceiling range hood…..we’ve already had many compliments and a couple of vendors here in Bobcaygeon have taken notice: folks at The Nest and Kitchen Design Studio. We were still in our old house when we ordered it.
It was relatively easy to fit into ceiling and the wall switch is very attractive. It is quiet at first two speeds and has ample draw when we’re cooking. The lights are helpful too, giving a little boost of light to cooktop when cooking. Just perfect! …..and made in Canada, which given recent headlines, is a bonus.

This is the second victory range hood we ordered. The first is in our original home and we ordered a similar one for a second home under construction. We have found the victory hood to perform well. It has both fan and light adjustments. In addition they look great. It was delivered approximately one month after ordering and was well packaged. First class product.

600 CFM Recessed Ceiling Mount Range Hood - VICTORY Sky

We replaced our under cabinet, recirculating, range hood with a wall mount Victory Twister with an outside, remote blower. I communicated with Victory by email and telephone several times before making a final purchase decision. They were always friendly and very helpful.

The shipment arrived in a timely manner and everything was well packed and in good shape. I temporarily wired together the range hood to the remote blower to test their operation. The lights, blower and controls all worked as designed.

Following the Victory installation instructions was clear and straight forward. Once the install was complete everything worked very well and as designed. It is quiet on all 4 blower speeds and the lights adjust from bright to quite dim.

Compared to the range hood we replaced the Victory Twister does an EXCELLENT better job. We cooked bacon in the oven the first morning and could not even smell the bacon on setting #2. The next night we cooked a very spicy and smoky stir fry that used to require opening doors and windows to clear the smoke and smell.

The Victory Twister handled it on setting #4. Even standing directly over the wok the smoke and smell were controlled very well. And even on #4 the blower was very quiet.

Victory was great to work with. Their product is terrific. I highly recommend them!

We have a cooktop in a kitchen island and a standard ceiling height. We didn't want a vent hood hanging down in the room. The Victory flush mount hood fit perfectly and is working out great. This is a very well designed and well-built vent hood. We're very impressed with the product and installation manual as well. It's very thorough and detailed with graphics and text that actually make sense and are easy to follow. The best documentation/manual I've seen in a very long time. Bought the Victory Range Hood based on its simplicity. After a few weeks, have found that the fan at its highest setting doesn't work most of the time. So there are reliability issues on the unit we have.

Completed my deck renos this fall with the install of this vet hood. It captures all of the smoke off the BBQ and does a fantastic job in keeping the room clear. The four light makes cooking in the low light days a dream! Highly Recommended!

After doing a lot of research we went with this Victory Range Hood. After being used to our old one it's wonderful to have one that actually works! The low setting is very quiet and the high setting really sucks up the bacon smoke.

Love my new rangehood. It's quiet and powerful when needed. Great for extracting strong odors, while having an ease of cleaning.

The vent is quiet and works well. The the available installation holes to use to attach the vent to the wall are different when the range hood is already in place, which is not apparent from the instructions provided.

Super strong / does the job! Nice to have the knobs underneath for a cleaner look along the front ….
