Ductless range hoods, also called ventless or recirculating hoods, pull cooking air through filters and return it to the room. Heat and moisture stay in the kitchen. Gas ranges and frequent frying usually work better with an outside vent. This collection lists the Victory Jupiter ductless island range hood and a ceiling recirculation kit for hoods with 6-inch ducting. The Jupiter has a mesh grease filter and two charcoal filters. It carries cETLus safety certification for the United States and Canada. For ceilings above 8 feet, a certified electrician must install a longer power cable on the Jupiter.
