The Twister 750 is a fantastic hood with a big strong smooth motor and switches. I have a lot of carpentry experience, but I think most people with basic carpentry tools could get the job done as far as installing the actual unit. I would recommend running a dedicated 15A circuit ahead of time, and make sure you can get your exhaust piping run figured out beforehand- just follow your code/ directions, use a properly configured back draft damper etc. The only issue we ran into was after about a year the light switch broke, could've just been user error but Victory immediately sent out a free replacement which is a rare thing for a company to do these days. I will be recommending Victory hoods to all my clients without hesitation. Thanks Victory for a top notch product, and backing it up!
Ps: open your box right away and do a full physical inspection on your unit, don't expect a warranty if you have it sitting in the box for 6 months or a year
