I ordered the heavy duty stainless steel model because my location is overlooking the lake and exposed to rain too. This is extremely well-made, certainly nothing at Home Depot compares.
Overall great product and my second vent and vent cap.

We purchased the 30 Inch 900 CFM Under Cabinet - VICTORY Verona as the range hood for our newly renovated kitchen. It is proving to be an excellent, Canadian made appliance. It is a sleek looking unit that effectively ventilates our new gas cook top keeping the air in the kitchen clean. Because we now have an open concept kitchen it was important to have a range hood that would pull a large volume of air from the area surrounding the cook top.
We are finding the remote blower to be highly effective in reducing the noise created by moving this volume of air.
Victory Range Hoods was very cooperative in the installation process. We appreciated the sending of the blower separately while the contractors were working in the attic so that it could be installed in a timely manner.

Works beautifully, both exhaust and lighting.
At low speeds, fans are very quiet. At high speeds, any cooking smoke or smells disappear.
