I find the Q 5 is easier for installation

Great looking and functioning fan, with one of the best warranties. Using 8” ducting, this fan has some serious pull on high! Vapours get drawn up off pots and pans, not partially floating around or escaping. Sound was also much lower when comparing others brands in person. Victory is also local to me which is always great if support is ever needed.

Still not installed. But out of the box.

Solid simplistic unit and non electronic. Slightly different from the first unit and the instruction manual is not keeping pace with the unit. There is one feature missing that was on the first unit, a rear grease channel that could be removed and placed in the dishwasher. It would be nice to have a hands on look at the product before ordering, guestamaiting on the Web is a pain. I know there will be a third unit in my future for an outside application.
